Transaction Data

Overview

Transaction Data provides secure, real-time access to your customers’ financial history through Open Banking. It helps lenders assess affordability, detect income patterns, and understand spending behavior, making it easier to make fast, informed credit decisions. The product also integrates seamlessly with Credit Insights and Credit Score to streamline risk assessment workflows.

How it works

Use the Console or API to generate a secure link and send it to your user. When the user clicks the link, they are redirected to the Transaction Data journey, where they can connect their accounts and provide consent.

Once the journey is completed, account and transaction data becomes accessible via the API.

Available Data

Transaction Data gives you access to detailed banking information retrieved through Open Banking connections. The data returned depends on the user’s bank and the type of account connected, but typically includes:

Account-level information

For each account :

  • Account type (e.g. checking, card)
  • Account number
  • IBAN
  • Current balance
  • Account owner information

Transaction-level information

For each transaction :

  • Amount
  • Date
  • Description

Transaction history typically covers the last 90 days, with the possibility of retrieving a longer history depending on the bank.
